Basics:

I am a semi-retired self employed California Certified Public Accountant. I prepare income tax returns and perform related services for individuals, families, estates and trusts. I have only a couple of business clients. I, in general, do not provide bookkeeping services and if you want that, you need to go elsewhere. I work in a home office in my residence, shown at right above I also do not do electronic filing of any sort and if you want that you should also go elsewhere.

My residence address is 1086 S Bernardo Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94087-1505.  My business phone number is 415-986-1840.  My business e-mail is eleanorcpa@aol.com,

Since there are so many sources of fairly good tax information on the Internet, I will not use this web-site for that purpose. At this point in time, I plan on using it for three  main purposes:

1. A few cases of 2020 GROSS INCOMPETENCY OF THE IRS. I am going to present in detail one case of SUCH INCOMPETENCY and urge you to call the phone numbers provided by the IRS and attempt to discuss your attitudes with whomever you are able to contact.

2. To lay out a Plan B for The United States Treasury concerning the processing of income tax, particularly individual income tax returns.

3 To provide a strong warning to other tax return preparers about CCH Computax aka Wolters Kluwer, which appears to be trying to compensate for a bad business plan by attacking its tax preparation customers. This will start with a discussion of the change in authorization practice that occurred in late 2019.,  it will continue with a discussion of the sudden disappearance of the the Tax Notebook Program in the winter of 2019-2020.  Then I will discuss the singular CCH September 15, 2020 outage

 4. An fairly comprehensive review of California tax law from Prop 39 to the Appeal of Bindley and which practitioners with non-CA-resident clients, and such CA-resident client can do about it. (To be Constructed in the Future).
